Introduction

We have many years of experience of making high quality exterior doors and windows in beautiful timbers. We tend to make all our exterior Joinery in durable hardwoods, even if it's going to be painted.

Double glazed doors and double glazed windows are a real benefit, and you'll notice the difference in the protection they offer against heat loss and noise.

Timber Doors

We make double glazed doors and solid timber doors, with or without matching frames and work with your ideas to give you what you want. We offer built-in multi-point locking espagnolettes which are great for security. Our double glazed doors are beautiful to look at, and have a reassuring and solid "feel" to them.

Timber Windows

As with our doors, we can make beautiful double glazed windows, and again we offer locking handles with multi-point locking espagnolettes. We use 4-16-4mm, Low-E, Argon-filled sealed double-glazed units, and in general the windows are delivered primed and pre-glazed, ready for installation. We can incorporate slender Georgian glazing bars quite unlike the bulky pattern so often seen in other timber double glazed windows.

We are also experts at reproducing windows if you are in the situation where you have to make a copy of an old window because of decay or other damage.

Sliding Sash Windows

We make sliding sash windows, either as single glazed or with double glazing, and with spiral sash balances or weights and pulleys. They are finely balanced and operate easily, and are complete with weather seals all round the sliding elements.

Sliding sash windows, when properly made and weather-sealed, can give a lot of light, a lot of fresh air, and a good level of security.
